In September, we launched a short survey to compare the user experience of two of the world’s best mobile phone brands on our website. Apple iPhones were evaluated in contrast with Nokia smartphones. We can’t say that the results are particularly mind blowing, but they are still latest and very useful for mobile phone buyers/sellers/surveyors/manufacturers.
The previous month was also very eventful in the telecom industry with the launch of new iPhones 5S and 5C. From social media to print media, tech headlines were abuzz with iPhone news. There were also some expectations that Nokia might release its Lumia 1520 by the end of September, but the date was rescheduled for October 27 this year. The Lumia 1020, however, was released in UK on September 25. The phone features a 41-megapixel camera for which Nokia claims unusual efficiency and precision.
The survey consisted of 10 questions which were targeted to measure customer experience of both brands. The respondents were mainly from the US but a few Asian users also attempted the survey.
The first two questions were concerned with the user’s choice and understanding of the operating system he prefers. From question 3 till 8, we explored ratings on different features of the phones. After that, we put a question to compare their prices. Last but not least, was the question regarding brand recommendation to other smartphone users which definitely brought forth unexpected results.
So, today we are going to share the graphical results of that survey with our readers. Hope you find these interesting:
