A recent study carried out by MarketingProfs and the Content Marketing Institute on the changing dynamics of content marketing has compiled the data found in face of a survey and made some predictions about the future of content marketing. The data has been collected on the B2B content marketing industry which comprises of the figures taken from over 1800 of North America’s B2B marketers.
The data includes the findings of various aspects of B2B marketing and collects the data of different dynamics like benchmarks, budgets and trends for the year 2015. The figures compiled in the study suggest that the secret to content marketing rests in the business’ content strategy. It has been encouraged that one chalks out a holistic content strategy that is competitive and then stick to it in the long run. The study finds that a competitive marketer needs to develop a “documented strategy” that is intensive and tracks down your ROI in an effective manner.
Furthermore, it has been revealed in the survey that the small and medium sized businesses are creating 70% more content than they were creating a year ago and that only 21% of the businesses are able to successfully track their ROI. Also, it has been affirmed that LinkedIn remains to be one of the most effective social media channels for B2B direct mail marketers.
With the widespread popularity of content marketing amongst the B2B marketers, a unanimous decision was passed that they would be using more content in the upcoming year.
